Reference Sheet (Post Next to UpBoard PC)
When
you arrive in the morning put your name on the UpBoard.
When
a customer comes in move your name to (On The Floor) and go make a sale.
After
the customer leaves select (Enter Opportunity) and answer the four basic
questions.
1.
What was the zip?
2.
If a sale was made, how much was it?
3.
What specifically brought them in?
4.
What product category did they look at or purchase?

If a sale was not made, why not?
Select
(Save Opportunity)
Note:
Please Do Not Enter Customer Information While Your Customer Is Still In The
Store. If
you are overrun with customers do not use this computer.
Enter your opportunities after all customers are gone.
- Older
Date
select (O) and select the date you want.
Only changes the date for that transaction.
- Personal
Trade only
counts if the customer is already in the TRAX computer.
Select the Personal Trade button (left center) and your name will
turn green.
This keeps your place in rotation on the Up Board.
After the customer leaves select Open Opportunity enter your personal
password and select your customer and enter the sale amount.
Select the Personal Trade button again and your name changes back to
its original color and you are ready for the next customer.
- Overflow
Type Ctrl I for increase and Ctrl D to decrease when you are on the floor.
- The
sale amount should not include tax or delivery.
- Tracking
Warranties
type in the correct amount under sale amount.
- Tracking
accessories type in the correct amount under sale amount.

Items Per Sale
- If
you do not get a zip code type in five zeros.
Do not type an incorrect zip if you did not get one.
- Entering
Customer Info
(Select Customer button (top left) and saves to your personal database).
Use the action date so TRAX can automatically remind you of all
customer promises and appointments.
- Use
the customer Info screen to track and remind yourself of personal
appointments like doctors visits or three days before important
anniversaries and family member birthdays.
- Also
use the customer info action date to call customers about special orders
before they call you.
It is also a great way to remind yourself of a customers birthday so
you can send them a card.
Sometimes it is the only card they get.
- If
you get the customers name address and zip TRAX
will automatically print a thank you letter
for you to sign and personalize with a PS.
(Write something not product related).
- Split
Sales select
the split sale button (top left) and select the salesperson you desire.
- Verifying
Accuracy use
the Ctrl A report at the end of each day and make sure all sales are entered
correctly.
- Not
Available to
take an up.
You may select Ctrl N and your name changes to an olive color and
will stay on the bottom of the up list.
When you select Ctrl R you will return to the rotation starting at
the bottom.
- Returns
may be
entered through (Open Opportunities) select the customer you are refunding
and select the return button on the top left.
- Networking
use
the Customer Info and Mailing Icon to view the UpBoard from any computer
(Type Ctrl U).
You may also edit your personal customer files and send your own
personal letters or emails.
Your password is your first name.
