We have added a scheduling program that compares your
hourly customer traffic patterns to how many
salespeople are covering the floor at that time. If
you are losing money because of poor coverage you get
a yellow, orange or RED color for that hour and
immediately know how to rearrange your schedule. Lots
of Red means you are losing big bucks. I had a good
friend with 14 stores report a 15% sales increase
without adding new people or spending a penny in
additional advertising. Long term this represents
millions in additional new found sales dollars simply
by being smarter with his stores schedules.
This schedule can also be viewed on line by any
employee with the proper password so that if they
forget their hours they can double check it anytime.
The second and most important new feature is the
ability to automatically import daily sales numbers
into TRAX and create New Sales Goals Analysis by
salesperson and Revenue Per Up Analysis that will
knock your socks off. This analysis tells you your
closing ratio but also provides your dollar value
analysis for every opportunity that enters your
company. This is important, so please pay attention.
This RPU number is the heartbeat of your level of
customer service in your company. It is simply your
dollar volume of sales divided by your number of
opportunities, even if they did not purchase. There
are only 2 ways to improve this number. Increase your
conversion ratio or increase your average sale. The
fun begins when you have more than one location and
you learn that (for example) your top store has a
lower RPU than anyone else. You can't know this until
your traffic counter measures this. It is a gold mine
that won't cost you a penny but can yield you many
times your current bottom line profit percentage.
All you need to do is fill out these two documents.
The first is your store schedule (only salespeople
please); the second is only this last weeks store
sales by salesperson per day. Just enter the date,
total sales for each day and the total number of
transactions. We will upload these to eTRAX for you
and then show you how to make these populate
automatically so you don't need to touch it again.
