If you do not have traffic counts on the web and want to
try a few simple things these are our suggestions.
1.
Restart the computer first. And wait until the 10 minutes
after the top of the hour. (that’s when the scheduler runs on its own)
a.
What this will do is to insure that the system scheduler is
running because it loads when windows starts.
b.
It will also clear any errors that you see or that you might not,
such as loss of internet or just other connectivity issues.
2.
Call the showroom and insure that the counter has lights and the
status of the lights. The lights at the front door counter should be
illuminated and have 2 green lights and 1 red light lit. If the green
lights are flickering or one is out, please adjust the alignment of the counter
by turning the set screw on the back of the unit one way or another until both
green lights are strong and steady. If the counter has no lights please insure
that you have solid connections from the Mux box. Please see next
paragraph.
3.
If the counter at the front door doesn’t have lights please
instruct someone to go to the pc where the TRAX system is installed to and find
the MUX box. It will be the size of a cigarette pack, black, and should
have a TRAXsales identification sticker on it. Once it has been found see
if the red light is illuminated if it isn’t see if the power pack is plugged
in. If it is then you should call us to go any further. 888-646-5462
This is a basic do it yourself fix if you have tried all of
the above and still don’t get any counts online please give us a call.

You would be surprised to see that the hardest of problems might have the
simplest solution.
